ARP-100 is a non-Hodgkin's T-cell lymphoma isolated from a pleural effusion of an
eight-year-old male and subcloned on soft agar. ARP-100 is susceptible to infection by human immunodeficiency
virus 1 (HIV-1) as well as human immunodeficiency virus 2 (HIV-2).
Sup-T1 cells express high levels of CD4 and CD8.
They express CD5, CD1a, CD9, and low levels of CD3. They are also CD2 and DR
Growth Characteristics: Cells recover
viability rapidly post-thaw. The
seeding ratio is 1:10 to 1:20. Cells grow in suspension and show minimal
clumping. Passage when number exceeds 5
× 105 cells per mL.
Propagation Medium: RPMI 1640 supplemented with 10% fetal
ARP-100 is negative for mycoplasma,
bacteria and fungi.
Each vial of ARP-100 contains
approximately 9.8 × 106 cells in RPMI 1640
supplemented 10% fetal bovine serum and 10% dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). Please
refer to the appropriate data sheet for lot-specific information.
