All reagents are provided world-wide at no cost. While there is no cost for the reagents themselves, additional shipping charges apply and you must provide us with your account number to a shipping carrier (e.g. FedEx, World Courier, etc.) in the shopping cart.
To register you must be affiliated with a public, private, academic, non-profit or for-profit institution. Registrants must demonstrate they work in an established institution with facilities and safety programs appropriate for the level of registration requested. The HIV Reagent Program encourages individuals and organizations to take advantage of our institutional registration process when more than one qualified researcher at an organization is interested in receiving materials from the HIV Reagent Program.
Reagent depositors are asked to state the restrictions on commercial use of their reagents. Scientists who wish to use reagents for commercial purposes can only do so under the terms of the release category specified by the donor. The five release categories are:
A  - Reagent may be used for commercial purposes without an agreement with the donor. B  - Recipient agrees to negotiate in good faith to share with the donor' s institution the income arising from commercializing the reagent (Form Required). C  - Recipient must sign an agreement with the donor' s institution for commercial use prior to receiving the reagent. D  - Recipient must Release Category B or C prior to receiving the reagent (Form Required). E  - Recipient must not use or incorporate the reagent for commercial purposes. Yes. The HIV Reagent Program can accept mailed, faxed, scanned and emailed copies of the registration documents. E-Mail all documents with electronic or ink signatures to:  contact@HIVReagentProgram.org  Fax all documents with electronic or ink signatures to:    (703) 365-2898.  The original documents can be sent to us via the courier of your choice to:
